Artist’s Statement:

Riro Samuel was born in 1930 and lives in Vernon in Eure in Normandy.  She was an activities organizer for teenagers in the forest area and she cultivated natures possibilities of creation and love.   Since her retirement she has taken advantage of her passion for painting.  Inspired by Giverny and Impressionists she produces the delicate colors of Normandy and she expresses the real emotion which arouses in us the authenticity of nature.  Her works are miniatures....6" x 9" to 10" x 14" and priced from $150 to $300.  The scenes depicted are reminiscent of Monet's work.
